• Don't know if this will help but I just did a clean install of El capitan and looking in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ there was a folder there marked disabled plugins and in it was quicktime plugin. So maybe it will be on your computer like that too. Just take the plugin out of the disabled folder into the 'Internet Plug-Ins' folder.
• Yes I did install the latest Quicktime. I also threw awy the library etc plugin.plugin. Mow I get a blank field at some sites what says click here to install the plugin. When I click I get the picture as is meant but I have to do this everytime on new when I open such a site.

Quicktime Plugin For Windows 10

I currently have a MBPr running macOS Sierra. I have a home CCTV which can be accessed locally via my web browser (Safari) and it requires QuickTime Plugin. At first, it was saying that the plugin was missing. I went to /Library/Internet Plug-Ins and moved the quicktime plugin from the disabled folder to the internet plug-ins folder. The CCTV interface is no longer displaying the 'missing plug-in' icon, but instead its stuck with the quicktime icon along with a progress bar - snapshot attached. Everything was working perfectly fine on Yosemite and El Capitan, I dont know if its an issue related to Sierra. Any help will be highly appreciated! P.S: - i can still access my CCTV via my iPhone or the DVR (which means that the issue is not related to my CCTV/DVR)
